We are thrilled to reveal that London Grammar’s long-awaited fourth album The Greatest Love is out today and that the album features guest vocalists from The Rhythm Studio’s students on the track You & I.
Back in Autumn 2022, a top-secret recording session at The Rhythm Studio took place with 16 vocalists from The Rhythm Studio working alongside London Grammar to record backing vocals on the track. This memorable session was the brainchild of London Grammar producer and patron of The Rhythm Studio Foundation Tim Bran. Tim, who has worked with the likes of Birdy, Aurora, London Grammar and Primal Scream, during his illustrious career as a songwriter and producer, is a long-standing supporter of The Rhythm Studio’s activities. For The Rhythm Studio’s students and teaching team, welcoming London Grammar band members Dot Major and Dan Rothman to the studio and taking part in a recording session with them was an experience they will never forget.
Since the session, we were thrilled to welcome London Grammar guitarist Dan and producer Tim back to feature on our industry panel at Future Sounds in March 2024, an annual event to discover the finest up-and-coming talent in West London. In the run up to the release of the new album today, London Grammar topped the bill at Latitude and Glastonbury and Radio 1’s Big Weekend this summer. We are of course incredibly proud that our students now feature alongside Hannah Reid’s incredible lead vocals on the track You & I – check out the track below!
